Is Paraglider and Parasailing the same?

No. Parasailing, also known as parascending or parakiting, is a recreational activity where a person is towed alone behind a vehicle (usually a boat) while attached to a canopy wing that resembles a parachute.

Paraglider is a flying equipment that is able to launch from a hill (foot-launch) or from a tow. Unskilled people who wants to experience to fly on paraglider may do a tandem flight alongside a pilot.
